This privacy policy informs you how and for what purpose your data is processed when you visit our website.

3. When you visit this website
For this page to reach you, your device transmits its IP address. In addition there are the usual details of a web request: date and time, the address requested and your browser's identification.
These data are not stored. No access log is kept at any point. Your IP address is used solely for the duration of the connection and is not retained afterwards.
Purpose: delivery of the website.
Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR — legitimate interest in operating the website.
Retention period: none; the connection data exists only for the duration of the connection.
You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide us with data. Without the transmission of your IP address, however, this page cannot be displayed to you.
4. Language choice
With every request your browser transmits which languages you prefer. We evaluate this solely in order to direct you to the German or the English version; the information is not stored.
Simply visiting the site sets no cookies. If you actively switch the language at the top right, a cookie named sprache containing de or en is stored for one year so that your choice is kept for your next visit. It contains no identifier by which you could be recognised. As it serves solely the purpose you triggered yourself, it requires no consent under Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG; the legal basis for the processing is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You may delete it in your browser at any time.
5. Contacting us by email
If you write to us, we process your email address, your name and the content of your message in order to deal with your enquiry.
Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your message serves the initiation or performance of a contract, otherwise Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Retention period: for as long as is necessary to deal with the enquiry; afterwards we delete the message, unless commercial or tax retention obligations prevent this.
6. Recipients
Your data is not passed on to third parties. No processors are involved, no transfer to countries outside the European Union takes place, and there is no automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection (Article 21). An informal message to info(at)code-ai.cloud is sufficient.
Right to object: where we rely on a legitimate interest, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds which override your interests.
Complaint: you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA) in Ansbach.
